The Kornreich Technology Center, a fully accessible evaluation, demonstration and educational facility, consists of hands-on displays of a wide range of assistive technology devices, consumer evaluation and training rooms, and a library devoted to assistive technology.

Large room with three display cases

Our displays contain over 300 low-and high-tech devices used for evaluation and training of consumers and for hands-on demonstration in our assistive technology education programs.

Consumer evaluations and training are performed in one of several accessible rooms. Consumers get hands-on experience with a variety of equipment before deciding what is right for them.

Our educational programs are increasingly done through distance learning. We are able to reach a national audience of consumers and their families as well as professionals working in the field of assistive technology and related areas. Kornreich Center works closely with the Smeal Learning Center.
