In an innovative attempt to increase access to an inaccessible museum in New York, HVS students had the opportunity to visit the Lower East Side Tenement Museum via a live, interactive, virtual tour from the Smeal Learning Center here at Abilities!. Click to see a Video Clip.

Abilities! Facts

After Hurricane Katrina, HVS students conducted a walkathon on our accessible track, raised money and purchased wheelchairs for students in New Orleans who lost theirs in the storm.

Abilities! website now supports online giving. The online donation is a secure, credit card transaction. The “Support Abilities!” link appears in the top right corner of the website.
