What is a user name? A user name is the series of letters
and/or numbers that you, the user, has chosen to be used to identify yourself. User
names are quite often your first initial and last name, but that is not a requirement.
We have converted all of the old log-on information to a new format. The first part
of your email address (ie: "yourname" in yourname@email.com) is being used for the
base of your new User Name.
If the name portion of your email address was less than 5 characters long, numbers,
starting with "0" were appended to the end to make the User Name at least 5 characters
long (ie: joe@email.com - User Name becomes joe01).
If when creating your new User Name, there was duplicate User Name already created,
then the user name had a "9" added to the end to create a unique User Name (ie:
joe01 might become joe019 or even joe0199).
What is a password hint? A password hint is a word
or phrase, chosen by the user, that can be used to recover their password, when
used along with their user name to prove their identify.
When we converted all of the old HVS Logon Information to the new format, we used
your email address as your Password Hint.
If you Registered with us after the conversion or, you have changed your Password
Hint from the conversion default, this is the word or phrase that you should enter
into the Password Hint field.
We will use this phase along with your user name to verify your identity.
